Han Lee completed a certificate program in New Media Design and Web Development at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He is enamoured with video production as he enjoys the process of filming, sifting through footage, and then crafting the final product. Going through code and figuring out how to fix issues with websites is extremely gratifying to Han as well. He also likes brainstorming dozens of thumbnails and refining the best ones.
Originally born in Singapore, Han moved to Vancouver at the age of five. He was accepted to Simon Fraser University to study psychology and criminology but left after a few semesters when he realized that he could not envision himself in those fields.
His first full-time job was with Aeroground Inc., which later became Menzies Aviation. While Han was promoted twice during his time with them, his interest in creating encouraged him to leave the company and take the Interdisciplinary Design Studies Certificate program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Although the program was not exactly what he had in mind, it gave him his first taste of design.
Han is currently available for part-time evenings and weekends freelance work.
More about his previous work experience and education can be found on his LinkedIn.
